I've been checking KEPN/1600 for several days and as Chris noted
sometimes the IBOC on 1590 is barely even noticeable. Because of this I
wasn't completely certain that it was their IBOC that I was hearing on
1610.
It is interesting that KDDZ/1690 is diplexed into KEPN tower #1 with
twice the power of KEPN. I believe KDDZ is also running IBOC. This tower
is 358 feet tall which is 210.8 degrees at 1600 and 222.6 degrees at
1690. I was surprised that KEPN didn't lease one of the 3 shorter towers
to KDDZ. The other 3 towers at that site are 184 feet tall and are only
used in the night pattern for KEPN.
