Im going with KTRP. It sounds like KTRP's facility is built and they're doing a proof of their antenna array.. and when you do such, you cant run any programming.. just a tone an announcements, I think. Dennis, As of Friday, no sign of KORC as yet. I did not check today as I was quite busy with work. Hopefully the next time I go to Portland, I will have time to run out to Bustos Media. [IRCA] KTRP 1130 still testing with tone 01/01/10
KTRP 1130 Mt Angel, OR was heard testing with tone at 1:14 PM PST on January 1, 2010. Signal was a steady S-9+30db off of the u shaped fence antenna. KTRP is 45 air miles from here. Has been heard other times with a S-9+40db signal. Some minor splatter from sister station KLPM 1150 about 6 miles as the crow flies from this location. This testing nearing the two month mark. Dennis, Ah ha, we were tuned in to 1130 about the same time! Yes, 2 months w/out a sign on. Interesting. I wonder when they will sign on? It would not surprise me if Busto Media doesn't pick up those 3 Churchill stations.
