[IRCA] S Meter readings/Portland stations

2008-05-18 Thread Patrick Martin
Since I removed the termination off the Eastern Beverage a while back, I
notice a difference in S Meter readings so many degres off the 90 degree
beverage. The drop is move noticable in regard to Portland to the SE and
Seattle to NE.

Portland area

620-KPOJ-S9+10 (Was S9+25)
750-KXL-S9+15 (Was S9+20)
800-KPDQ-S9+3 (Was S9+5)
860-KPAM-S9+19 (Was S9+22)

The lower frequencies seem to have a largest drop off. The upper ones
are closer to the same. I do notice the beverage is more directional to
the East than in the past few years. More like the 80s 90s. Other S
Meter readings are:

910-KTRO-S9+12
970-KCMD-S9

[IRCA] S Meter readings

2008-01-05 Thread Patrick Martin
Greetings:

After I put the Eastern beverage back up a few days ago, today around
noon I did a scan of the Portland stations.

620-S9+20
750-S9+18
800-S9+3
860-S9+18
910-S9+14
970-S9+1
1010-S9+5 (QRM de CBR)
1040-S9
1080-S9+12
1150-S9+2 (QRM jumble)
1190-S 9+9
1230-N/A u/KKEE local
1330-S8 (QRM)
1360-S8 (QRM de KKMO)
1410-S7 (QRM
1450-N/A (jumble QRM)
1480-S8
1520-S9+8
1550-S9+5
1600-S8 (Better now than in the past)

The strongest Portland station I get days is 620, running 25 KW. 620 is
a couple DB stronger than the 50 KWers 750/860.
