[IRCA] S Meter readings/Portland stations
Since I removed the termination off the Eastern Beverage a while back, I notice a difference in S Meter readings so many degres off the 90 degree beverage. The drop is move noticable in regard to Portland to the SE and Seattle to NE. Portland area 620-KPOJ-S9+10 (Was S9+25) 750-KXL-S9+15 (Was S9+20) 800-KPDQ-S9+3 (Was S9+5) 860-KPAM-S9+19 (Was S9+22) The lower frequencies seem to have a largest drop off. The upper ones are closer to the same. I do notice the beverage is more directional to the East than in the past few years. More like the 80s 90s. Other S Meter readings are: 910-KTRO-S9+12 970-KCMD-S9 1010-KOOR-S8 1/2 1040-KXPD-S8 1080-KFXX-S9+11 1150-KXMG-S9 1190-KEX-S9+11 1230--- (local here) 1330-KKPZ-S9 1360-KUIK-S9 (QRM) 1410-KBNP-S7 1450-KBPS-S7 (QRM) 1480-KBMS-S7 1/2 1520-KGDD-S9+15 1550-KKAD-S9+5 1600-KOHI-S8 1640-KDZR-S9 Seattle area 570-KVI-S9+2 (Was S9+5) 630-KCIS- S9+2 (Was S9+5) 710-KIRO-S9+5 (Was S9+12) 770-KTTH-S9+5 (Was S9+10) 820-KGNW-S9+5 (Was S9+7) 850-KHHO-S9 (Splatter) 880-KIXI-S9+5 (QRM) 950-KJR-S9+2 (Was S9+10) 1000-KOMO-S8 1/2 1050-KBLE-S7 (QRM) 1090-KPTK-S8 1/2 1150- Portland domantates off Bev) 1180-KLAY (KEX IBOC hash) 1210-KTBK-S7 1230- (Local) 1250-KKDZ-S7 1300-KKOL-S8 (QRM) 1360- KUIK with KKMO in background 1380-slight splatter 1420- dominated by KITI 1450- KBPS Portland mostly 1460- KUTI Yakima mostly 1480- Portland dominates 1490- Kelso dominates 1540-KXPA-S2 1560-KZIZ- barely audible 1590- Mostly KMBD with KLFE behind 1620-KYIZ-S4 1680-KDOW-S4 Patrick Martin KGED QSL Manager ___ IRCA mailing list IRCA@hard-core-dx.com http://montreal.kotalampi.com/mailman/listinfo/irca Opinions expressed in messages on this mailing list are those of the original contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the IRCA, its editors, publishing staff, or officers For more information: http://www.ircaonline.org To Post a message: irca@hard-core-dx.com
