All barely there if that qualifies - and at the same time, the FB shows the exact same thing... Most days I feel that chopping down the trees that hold the antennas would improve the reception. When I put up the Flag antenna, I thought I could hear anything at anytime. Now I hear largely nothing all of the time despite Geo reports. Hearing carriers now is a treat. Not really much of anything, no enhancements, no sudden outbursts or tantrums.. Interesting that Colin was hearing things around 1500UT, brief whispers from 774 was the best I could do then. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): today? no. It was a morning made for SDRs. The first hour or so of listening was accounted for with 3 minutes of scanning; things were a little more interesting after 1508UT, when HLAZ started to fade up, and a little bit of a buzz happened on the upper band. pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly): not quite; HLAZ was pretty readable at times. Re: [IRCA] TP 3 Dec, Victoria version
My SDR recordings weren't much different from what Nick reported. Today I had fragmentary audio on 774 and 1566 at around 1300. Also traces of real or imaginary audio on 747 and 972. I wondered for a while if I had my antenna switch in the wrong position, but everything was set up correctly. It was just a bummer of a morning for TPs.
