Colin,

Craig heard about 20 stations from Alaska that night and the following morning. 
 In fact he would mention that he heard a station and then I would tune to the 
frequency and hear it too.  Eton E1 is an amazing radio and the large readout 
is great for guys my age.  That was a great evening and morning for stations 
from Alaska.

 I can attest to the Eton E1 kicking it. I used my E1 
 at Grayland last September. I felt that it held it's 
 own against the table top super sets used by the rest 
 of the crew. I think it's the best portable I've 
 owned. I just wish the radio was equipped with an 
 internal ferrite bar, preferably one of the GE 
 Superadio I  II length. I own two 2010s and two
