[IRCA] WKAL DX test HEARD in Omaha
Not heard at 2200-2205 ELT, but heard rather faintly in the soup at 2302 ELT with bits of Morse Code. Loop was (and still is) pointed at about 75 degrees, which is right in the direction of Syracuse. Didn't give this one much of a chance. Before sending off a reception report for the WKAL test, check with the MidAtlantic Engineering web site for complete E-mail addresses. The first e-mail address listed did not work for me - several attempts bounced back. Could not hear even a hint of CW through the ridiculous traffic jam of signals that is 1450 at night here in Space City. Thanks to all who arranged the test and to the WKAL staff who executed it.
