[IRCA] WKVQ DX Test in So Cal
Not heard here in South Orange County CA. ToH heard the XE NA from presumed XEHOS Hermosillo Sonora. They were in and out with music and announcements. Dominant station was Los Angeles with an English program of talk and music. Nothing else heard. Thanks for the test. Re: [IRCA] WKVQ DX Test in So Cal
Martin, I couldn't hear them either, not for lack of trying :( That XEHOS national anthem lasted about 5 minutes, hi. 'Might have heard a piece of code towards the end but too weak to be sure it wasn't music sideband. Thought I might hear this one but no cigarMike Sanburn (fogged in at Long Beach CA). Re: [IRCA] WKVQ DX Test Washington State
Did not hear the WKVQ test, thanks to WKVQ and Jim Chenard. Did hear Jingle Bells, but it must have been the Spanish station that Steve heard. [IRCA] WKVQ DX Test
Heard 5 or 6 CW IDs, several address announcements and some Christmas music, from 0101 to 0130 EST. The CW IDs were very clear, as well as one or two of the address announcements. From time to time a station would rise out of the noise and state that they were playing a music safari, but no ID was heard.
