Let me write repro steps for you more clearly : 1. Create a zone with 2 cluster . One LXC cluster and One KVM cluster 2. Register LXC template 3. Create a KVM VM first . Very important step. 4. However, I'm unable to reproduce this bug. Correct hypervisor(LXC) is being passed to deployVirtualMachine API. Please see my attached screenshot jessica_web_site_loaded_with_Shweta_databaseDump_1A, jessica_web_site_loaded_with_Shweta_databaseDump_1B in which I chose template http://10.147.28.7/templates/lxc-templates/Centos6-final.tar.gz;. I suspected you chose wrong template (http://10.147.28.7/releases/2.2.0/eec2209b-9875-3c8d-92be-c001bd8a0faf.qcow2.bz2;) whose hypervisor is KVM when you produced this bug.
