Hugo Trippaers created CLOUDSTACK-7624:
------------------------------------------

Summary: Long hostnames cause CloudStack to die with an encryption
error during startup
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-7624
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-7624
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: Management Server
    Affects Versions: Future, 4.4.0
            Reporter: Hugo Trippaers
            Assignee: Hugo Trippaers
             Fix For: 4.4.1

Machines with a long hostname will have a longer certificate in cloud.keystore.
When encrypted this certificate will be longer than 4095 which is the maximum
length of the database field.

When the value is read back the stripped value is returned and the decryption
routine will throw an error.
