   @XenoAmess
   Let's be careful with the terms we use here: this PR does NOT break BC. BC
is about API signatures, not behavior.

   some comments about test:
   I tried add this test into ProviderWriteTests, but build was failed with
timeout(with local debug looks like this scenario doesn't work with
"file///..." prefix).
   Due this I added this test only for SftpProvider.

Review comment:

   No it should be `minor < 3` take a look at the jvm's class parser

https://github.com/AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk-jdk8u/blob/4b69552faa8de8f7de5bed1c95c12c025702b8ee/hotspot/src/share/vm/classfile/classFileParser.cpp#L2137

   Also I check `major < Const.MAJOR_1_1` just in-case the major version is
less than 45, which shouldn't happen, but it's there just in-case.

   No I don't have an oak compiler, but you can emulate one by transforming a
class file and changing its version to a proper oak version and halfing the
correct data types in the code attribute.

   Hi @Wuchte

   There is nothing wrong with GitHub; you'll need to consider your line ending
settings here:
https://docs.github.com/en/github/using-git/configuring-git-to-handle-line-endings

   >

access?

   There is no general rule on multi-threaded access, you'll have to look at
the code for each provider and see if they even document their threading model.

   @garydgregory
   Can you take a look patch in
[Jira](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/VFS-780)?
   Something is wrong with github, locally I see correct changeset.

   About tests - I'm new in this project, does all providers support parallel
access?

   @Wuchte
   Thank you for your PR... BUT... I can't tell what's changed since the whole
file is marked here as a diff. May you try to provide a PR that properly shows
you diffs please? Also, there is no way to see if the PR fixes anything without
a failing unit test. Please see tests we already have for this provider for
examples.
   Thank you.

instructions on how you created the class file if it is out of the ordinary

[jira] [Created] (CSV-264) Duplicate empty header names are allowed even with `.withAllowDuplicateHeaderNames(false)`

2020-08-11 Thread Sagar Tiwari (Jira)
Sagar Tiwari created CSV-264:

 Summary: Duplicate empty header names are allowed even with
`.withAllowDuplicateHeaderNames(false)`
 Key: CSV-264
 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CSV-264
 Project: Commons CSV
  Issue Type: Bug
  Components: Parser
Affects Versions: 1.8
Reporter: Sagar Tiwari

I'm trying to parse to parse a csv like this:

{{CSVFormat.DEFAULT}}
{{ .withHeader()}}
{{ .withAllowDuplicateHeaderNames(false)}}
{{ .withAllowMissingColumnNames()}}
{{ .parse(InputStreamReader(FileInputStream(fl)))}}

One would expect this code to throw an error if the following csv is given as
input:

{{"","a",""}}

{{"1","X","3"}}

{{"3","Y","4"}}

But it doesn't, and asking for `record.get("")` gives the value from the second
column. The first column is ignored.

   Sorry, I see now that the strings do have a mix of CR and LF endings (or
neither).
   However, the strings are all of length 2.
   The strings are not representative of the likely use cases.

   As to the change itself, it looks fine, but IMO the benchmark needs some
work.
