I suspect that the issue has been fixed by [this commit|https://github.com/apache/cordova-lib/commit/f05874a5420ea5fcf5b96290cb1a7fe18fe3e6d6]. If so, the fix will be available in cordova 6.3.1 which will be released in a few days.
