Ah I see what's happening. The CLI is disallowing hyphens in the ID for all 
platforms, when it should only disallow for Android only. Hyphens are allowed 
on iOS, I just checked.

All I am doing is CLI cordova create SBCERAApp 
org.sbcera.sbcera-application-ios SBCERAApp. That is when the error happens. If 
I remove the hyphens it creates.

How are you encountering this? Repro steps.
This error should only occur if you are changing the bundle id of the app 
itself in the project metadata (hyphens not allowed), it shouldn't care about 
hyphens in actual file names.
