I wanted jetty9 so could more easily add web tools and libs to draw pretty

Yeah, resubmitting a few times.

On hadoop and jetty7, you'd probably get further talking jetty9 IMO -- or at
least, you'd get more attention? Could align nicely w/ hadoop3?

Hmm ... My thought would be that we will get a consistent set (Jetty6 only or
Jetty7 only). Would Hadoop be interested in a Jetty upgrade? When you say
running here, do you mean cancelling/resubmitting the patch?

If same package, then we could pick up classes from jetty7 if it is before
jetty6 in the classpath? Could make for some fun, fun, fun! If you want we
could try it out on master branch. Try running it here a few times to see if
http issues come back?

[~gliptak] Understood. Follow-up would be fine (there may be a ticket already).
Jetty7 has same package and artifactid as jetty6? Having jetty6 and jetty7 on
the classpath could make for headaches if this is so: i.e. when hadoop is on
the classpath. On validation, thats the tough one. These tests all passed for
me fine locally only failing up on apache jenkins (the joy of a dodgy CI)
Thanks.

[~stack] Thank you for the pointer on the Jetty 9 upgrade. In this ticket, I
was targeting to bring back these tests with minimal required change. I'm open
to work a wider upgrade of Jetty version (maybe on a followup ticket?). As for
validation, what would be the best way to validate here (force rerun multiple
times maybe?)?

Should we go to jetty 9 [~gliptak] ? IIRC, the package names are all different
from our current jetty ... so should be no possibility of our clashing with
hadoop? I came across this blog a while ago and it seemed to be good on how to
do upgrade:
http://blog.softwaredemo.com/2014/02/06/embedded-jetty-how-to-upgrade-from-version-6-to-9/
Might be too much work and the move to jetty7 might be enough.
