Once the savepoints are supported at Java API level they should be supported at 
the level of our ODBC driver. 

It looks like there is no support for the savepoints at the level of ODBC API. 
However, ODBC
drivers which implement it just detect "SAVEPOINT" keyword in a query and 
process it right away.
