Tibor Digana commented on SUREFIRE-632:
---------------------------------------

Any objections to close this issue?
Passed four years after opening this issue, maybe not relevant for the Reporter
anymore.
We have introduced RE-RUN feature in SUREFIRE 2.18.
Is this a feature you would use instead of you rpoposal?

> add a test-failed goal, to only run the tests which failed last time
> --------------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: SUREFIRE-632
> URL: https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SUREFIRE-632
> Project: Maven Surefire
> Issue Type: Improvement
> Components: Maven Surefire Plugin
> Affects Versions: 2.5
> Reporter: james strachan
>
> if the test goal outputs to target/surefire-reports/failures.txt a little
> text file of all the failures which occurred in the previous test run, it
> would be easy to add a new goal *test-failed* which just runs all the test
> cases which previously failed.
