The one in D is the same as in AOO 4.0.0 - wrong cells are referenced. The standard behavior might very well be a kind of statement, intended to demonstrate that this is not MS Office, but, given that even the basic textarea editor i'm currently typing in adheres to the MS standard, it ends up making a much more inclusive statement. The main issue, however, is its inconsistency with what it is supposed to do (at least in the old 3.4.0 version I'm still using). 1. Deleting from within a word (i.e. partial word-deletion) will delete to start of word proper. 2. Deleting from end of word plus whitespace (i.e. from start of next word) will delete to start of word proper. 3. Deleting from end of word proper, however, will delete to end of previous word. In other words, deleting at least a single character either more or less than the length of the word, will delete to start of word otherwise it will delete to end of previous word. Furthermore, ctrl-left will still jump to the beginning of a word proper, not to the end of previous ones. When using ctrl-backspace one would therefore expect this jumping to be mirrored in some way. Finally, it is much quicker (or at least it feels much smoother) to do a ctrl-backspace, backspace sequence (to get rid of the superfluous space) manually, than to do a ctrl-backspace, space sequence. But maybe that's me. Problem is that the former error allowed values from the ItemSet to be set at the EdgeTrack using ImpSetAttrToEdgeInfo; this is *never* done now before later in SdrEdgeObj::ImpRecalcEdgeTrack() really *pEdgeTrack=ImpCalcEdgeTrack(*pEdgeTrack,aCon1,aCon2,aEdgeInfo); ImpSetEdgeInfoToAttr(); is called. This *will* kill values which are in the ItemSet, but were vere adapted/set at the EdgeInfo (in ImpSetEdgeInfoToAttr). To solve this, the object needs to remember if ImpCalcEdgeTrack was ever suppressed, and if yes, get to a valid state by calling ImpCalcEdgeTrack once and then ImpSetAttrToEdgeInfo. This cannot be reproduced with creating a new file with a new rectangle shape, neither starting from AOO341 nor from AOO400. The style from the text file is: style:graphic-properties draw:stroke=none svg:stroke-color=#99ccff draw:opacity-name= draw:textarea-horizontal-align=center draw:textarea-vertical-align=middle/ while from a new file you get: style:graphic-properties draw:stroke=none draw:fill=solid draw:fill-color=#99ccff draw:textarea-horizontal-align=center draw:textarea-vertical-align=middle/ Thus, the default fill color is used (blue9 or now 'blue calssic'). It still works since in the ODF in the styles.xml in style:graphic-properties the defaults are defined and there draw:fill-color=#cfe7f5 is set what is 'blue9'. The example does not work since there is only a draw:fill-color for the object with 'blue9' (so this stays at load time), but not for the object with 'blue8' *and* there is no default draw:fill-color given in the styles.xml style:graphic-properties, thus the default (blue9) is used. In AOO341 still 'blue8' was used as default due to an error in calc not setting the correct defaults for the pool, even when the defaults for filling were already set correctly. Without that error the behavior of this file would have already shown in AOO341, too. This gives a slight correction possibility at load time: If there is no color set and there is no default color, fallback to using the old AOO341 pool default of 'blue8'. But since only files which cannot regularly be created (AFAIK) show this and this correction is not easy, I am not sure if this should be done. This explains why the example file changes fill color from 'blue8' to 'blue9'. It also raises the question how that file was created, there is no way to create this in AOO341/340 nor AOO400. Save the attached file, WordArt.RTF in a convenient directory. 2. Open WordArt.RTF with MS Word 2007 from the directory chosen in step 1. 3. Note the WordArt image displaying Text. 4. Close MS Word 2007 so that there will not be a file use conflict. 5. Open WordArt.RTF with OO Writer version 4.0.0. 8. Note that the Word Art image appears but is not readable. (Strangely, the shadowing appears to be correct.) When WordArt.RTF is opened with word pad, the image is readable but the Word Art improperly contains artifacts.
