Though the .dmg mounted correctly and the app copied into my apps folder, when I tried to use it the system reported that it was a damaged file and should be placed in trash. I subsequently tried using my nearest AOO mirror site and downloaded the EN-GB version with exactly the same result. Those tables must have the top of text facing the binding. On the left page right to left vertical is required. On the right page left to right vertical is required. Many of my tables have to be on the right page. Vis a vis what use is a word processor if it cant be used for proper publishing ? Vertical table orientation of 90 and 270 degrees is essential. Can we please have this added after requesting it for so many years. I then accessed a backup copy of the file that I made some time ago on an external hard disk but received the same error message. I even tried cutting and pasting the password from a separate application into the required field but to no avail. I even tired using an older version of office that had always worked but again to no avail. I have lost several vital files. Is there any way I can recover them? Is there a programme I can get to do this? I have looked but see nothing for Mac. More specifically, this document is an alphabetized list of books by author in my possession, kept in several columns; I add new entries frequently, and then sort the given selected column only (or a contiguously selected part of it), using that column as index, to re-alphabetize it in increasing order.
