It cannot be fixed in revision 1518667 wich you used for testing. You were just too fast ;-) FYI: Apache uses a single, big svn repository which produces a new revision number for each commit. The version you test with needs to be higher than the version the fix went into. The second one introduced this issue. I think the change for output string change for logic formulas is reasonable because before 12666, from 12666's sample file, a cell with formula =21 will return 1.0. It is very strange. It should return TRUE like MS Excel. So my fix will based on 12666. The root cause is for logic formula cells, fix code of 12666 forcibly set output string to true or false. But many AOO users had manner already that set number format to logic formula cells. That's different with Excel. In Excel, no matter what number format you set to logic formula cells, the output strings are always true and false. In the sample of this issue, users set number format to currency, because of the forcibly setting, the string changed. Slideshow has no idea about that, but - if AOO34 would have already been able to rotate gradients in metafile graphic objects - it would have been the same. This forces me to use Fields - other -cross referencing. I have a suggestion for changing the options to be more accommodating. There are several characteristics of these fields which should be selectable: 1: The field name to be used for field selection. 2: The display text associated with the name when the field is used. 3: The TOC category to be used when a TOC is created. 4: The TOC display text (which may be different or the same as the use display text. 5: Autonumbering algorithm to be used: a. Existing scheme (one-up number globally affected). For example Table 1, Table 2, ... b. By Section/Chapter (one-up number effective for a Section). For example Table 3.2-1, Table 3.3-1, Table 4.5.2-1, ... c. Selection of the heading level to start one-up numbering. For example Select all heading levels (same as b. above) Select Heading2 (using example in b.) Table 3.2-1, Table 3.2-2, Table 4.5-1 Select Heading1 (using example in b.) Table 3-1, Table 3-2, Table 4-1 d. Select no autonumbering (strictly manual numbering). As an example, suppose I have a frame and I place a frame title centered at the bottom of the frame outside the frame boundaries, then when I perform a Field - other - cross reference I would like to be presenting with the following Set Reference options: Reference Name Reference Text Table of Contents category Table of Contents text. And a new options to set autonumbering, perhaps Fields - other - autonumbering Category user chosen Numbering (Global, Heading, ...) And if I enter: Fields - other - autonumbering Category Example Numbering Heading 8 Fields - other - cross referencing - Set Reference Reference Name Example 4.1.2-1(autogenerated number) Reference Text Just an Example Table of Contents category Example Table of Contents text Another Example I would get in the TOC Example Example 4.1.2-1 Another Example And when I use (Field - other - cross reference - insert) for the entry I would get ... Example 4.1.2-1 Just an Example ... It would be nice to be able to selectively use/not use the Reference Text when the reference is selected. And, if autonumbering is implemented then automoving (ya' move it the number changes) remains. It is clear (to me) that if autonumbering by a user chosen category is an option then some of the placement and methods used should be put in a place other than in Fields (which I assume is for manual and not automatic control). But it also seems that the options, wherever placed, should be available. The motivation for this is that: 1: The existing default autonumbering scheme does not suit my purposes. 2: The existing default autoplacement scheme is just wrong. The workaround for autonumbering is that every time I move one item in a category then there is an affect on all items following the moved item in both the 'from' and the 'to' location. Tedious. And finally. Please don't take this as a criticism. It is not; not at all. And don't think that I am so full of myself that I think that this is the best or only solution. But, it would be nice ... Delete the bullet on the line (successive deletes) ii. Enter text then carriage return. iii. Note that bullet reappears (indicating that numbering continues). This can be (presumably) be stopped by using Format - bullets and numbering - remove but this is truly counterintuitive. I'm not sure that this really works. b: Incorrect Section / Chapter numbering following a bulleted list. i. Delete the bullet on the line. ii. Enter Format - Styles and Formatting - Heading2 iii. Place the cursor on the just created line. iv. Select Continue previous numbering v. A bullet appears. Workarounds: 1: The empty paragraph solution. a. Enter two empty paragraphs. b. Start a list at the point of the first paragraph. c. Start non-list text or a new section in the second paragraph. 2: The delete list option. a. After all list items are entered, use ctl-X to delete the entire list. b. Start non-list text or a new section. c. Restore the deleted items, ctl-V, at the point of deletion. I'm a newbie but it seems that the list methodology is broken. An approach to removal of the list which I like is successive deletion on a line (preceding all text). The first deletion maintains the data as a new paragraph within the list, the second deletion does a Format - bullets and numbering - remove, that is, removes the list from the minds of men. The incorrect behavior with section/chapter headings is a fault. After removal of the list (Format - bullets and numbering - remove) the list should not exist(?). Using a Format - Styles and formatting - Heading# should not be affected by list entries in any case.
