McKenna --- The usual starting point for spellcheck problems is to delete or rename the OpenOffice user profile. Doing this sorts out a very large proportion [read: most] of OpenOffice stability problems. [Issue 127072] New: dictionary is installed but contains no words
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127072 Issue ID: 127072 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: dictionary is installed but contains no words Product: Writer Version: 4.1.2 Hardware: Other OS: Windows 10 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: Critical Priority: P5 (lowest) Component: configuration Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: katherine_t...@msn.com English uk is selected as the spellcheck language but ALL words are flagged as unrecognised, there are no suggestions as the dictionary doesn't appear to contain any words. I have uninstalled and re-installed OpenOffice, I have also separately downloaded and installed the dictionary add-on but this hasn't improved the issue. this has basically rendered the program unusable - I never had this issue before windows 10 - is there a bug? please advise (specifically in layman's terms) many thanks!! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.

[Issue 12686] Tabbed Document Windows
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=12686 orcmid changed: What|Removed |Added CC||orc...@apache.org --- Comment #86 from orcmid --- (In reply to xerty from comment #85) > 13 years and we are still waiting for this feature ?!? > I am still using Lotus Word Pro due to this feature being missing from OOO Petitions and votes are nice. They don't accomplish much. The actual situation is that there are no volunteer developers with the capacity, capability, and will to make this sort of modification, along with the internationalization, QA, documentation, etc., that are also required. This feature will not be worked on in the foreseeable future. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue. You are on the CC list for the issue.
