[Issue 127645] New: File changes in packaging - incomplete installation
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127645 Issue ID: 127645 Issue Type: DEFECT Summary: File changes in packaging - incomplete installation Product: Installation Version: 4.2.0-dev Hardware: All OS: Linux, all Status: CONFIRMED Severity: Normal Priority: P5 (lowest) Component: ui Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org Reporter: o...@mechtilde.de Target Milestone: --- Debian 10 64-bit installation with dpkg -i to install version 4.2.0 (-dev) over 4.1.5 I get this error message: Fehler beim Bearbeiten des Archivs DEBS42ApacheOpenOffice/DEBS/openoffice-core01_4.2.0-1_amd64.deb (--install): Versuch, »/opt/openoffice4/program/gconfbe1.uno.so« zu überschreiben, welches auch in Paket openoffice-gnome-integration 4.1.5-1 ist Translation: There is an error at installation of openoffice-core01_4.2.0-1_amd64.deb. Try to overwrite /opt/openoffice4/program/gconfbe1.uno.so which is also in package openoffice-gnome-integration 4.1.5-1. This means this files changes from openoffice-gnome-integration 4.1.5-1 to openoffice-core01_4.2.0-1_amd64.deb. The solution is to install the package openoffice-core01_4.2.0-1_amd64.deb with dpkg -i --force-overwrite. This isn't a solution for normal user. The better way is to define this changes in the installscript or similar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.

https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=127644 --- Comment #3 from algroesc...@t-online.de --- Hello, it seems that the issue comes with the file fomat Excel 97/2000/XP! I tried this with my original doc and a brand new sheet with the same result: with "Excel 97/2000/XP" format the error is here with ".ods" format, the error disappear For me, I'll change the format to .ods. The Excel format was because of history. Anyhow, it would be fine when this behaviour will be fixed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
