This is the sort of thing for which additional documentation on trouble-shooting and work-arounds would be helpful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.

[Issue 126944] A window has appeared saying that OpenOffice quit unexpectedly but I cannot get rid of it
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126944 --- Comment #3 from orcmid --- It would help to leave some of these as Resolved so they can be more easily mined for places where some non-code fixes can be managed. Alternatively, tasks would have to be created. Suggestions? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
[Issue 126944] A window has appeared saying that OpenOffice quit unexpectedly but I cannot get rid of it
https://bz.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=126944 --- Comment #4 from Andrew Cowen --- The solution to my OpenOffice problem being resolved did not seem to have any logic to it at all, however the process was this: I closed the computer down (Apple OS X 10.9.5) by using the button at the back of the Apple software, rather than via the keyboard. On restarting the system a new window appeared (in addition to the original "Don't Reopen/Reopen" one) warning that someone else might be accessing OpenOffice and offering 3 options. I pressed the cancel option and OpenOffice was restored to its original state allowing me access to the software. Unfortunately I can't remember the other two options being an everyday user of the computer rather than a specialist. However I can only surmise that shutting the computer down via the rear button short circuited OpenOffice by introducing an element that broke the original fault cycle. Hope this helps someone. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the issue.
