Facing similar issue when moved to spark 1.5.1 .
remote.ReliableDeliverySupervisor: Association with remote system
[akka.tcp://sparkDriver@10.74.14.173:38375] has failed, address is now gated
for [5000] ms. Reason is: [Disassociated]
