Does Spark SQL support {{LEN()}}? How about {{LIMIT}}? And what about {{MY
FAVOURITE SYNTAX}}?
Right now there is no reference page to document this. [Hive has one.|

Yeah, that coupled with the earlier section that discourages people from
using SQLContext/Parser.

I guess that's good for starters, but I hope eventually we will have something
more complete like the [Redshift SQL

the [Hive

you agree? Shall we track that in a separate JIRA ticket?

Honestly for now I'd point people at the Hive one with a list of the things
that are not supported. With Spark SQL being less than a year old, the
language (and the direction the language is going in) are kind of in flux. Any
documentation about the SqlParser is likely going to be out of date shortly.
HiveQL is by far the best supported mechanism and will be supported long term.
