The issue I am facing is that while people may not dependent on some modules during compile time but they may dependent on them during runtime. For example, I am building a spark server that lets users submit spark jobs using convenient REST endpoints. This used to work great even in yarn-client mode. However, once I migrate to 1.2.0, this breaks because I can no longer add dependency of my spark server to spark-yarn module which is used while submitting jobs to YARN cluster.
