Iulian Dragos updated SPARK-12202: ---------------------------------- Description: Sometimes it is useful to be able to pass Scala options to the underlying Spark REPL (like {{-target}} or {{-Xprint:parse}} when debugging). Currently, only the 2.10 version of the REPL allows that (as normal arguments to the spark-shell command) was: Sometimes it is useful to be able to pass Scala options to the underlying Spark REPL (like {{-target}} or {{-Xprint:parse}} when debugging). A simple way is to pass them through an additional environment variable {{SPARK_REPL_OPTS}}.
