caching).

1) +1, it's often desirable to only utilize RAM for caching.  It would be nice 
to have a cleaner architecture than working around the issue with /dev/shm or 
equiv.

2) Bonus points for allowing RAM-only or disk on a per-remap basis.  Example 
use case is a REST service proxy at /services to be cached exclusively to RAM, 
data at /data to be cached to disk.
