*Position : Siebel Deployment Manager*
*Location : NYC,NY*
*Duration : 12+ Month*
*SCOPE OF SERVICES *
The Siebel Deployment Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful
deployment of the DSNY Lot Cleaning Siebel implementation. This includes
coordination of all technical activities during the migrations and
deployment, and all necessary communications with the technical teams,
stakeholders and business clients.
*Responsibilities include:*
Create deployment deliverables as per the deployment process. This
typically includes the following:
Deployment approach documentation
Deployment scorecard schedule
Deployment impact analysis
Step by step migration activities
Backout plan
Any necessary communication deliverables
Coordinate with various groups within DSNY and DoITT (e.g., end users,
network teams, WinTel, IT Security, Unix) and all project teams (e.g.
design, development, test, management) to ensure the successful completion
of migrations to the test and production environments.
Facilitate the approval of the deployment and backout approach with the
various groups listed above.
Conduct Go/No-Go discussions and obtain decisions from stakeholders
Lead the cross team coordination of all pre-deployment, deployment and
post-deployment activities across the various teams mentioned above.
Be the time keeper for all migration and deployment tasks.
Escalate migration issues to the appropriate teams in a timely manner and
see all issues to resolution.
Continue to improve the deployment process documentation with any lessons
learned items
*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE *
At least 6 years of Siebel experience
Knowledge of code migrations within Siebel
Working knowledge of SDLC
Experience in coordinating work efforts across multiple teams
Strong supervision experience of medium to large sized teams
Have excellent communication skills
*DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE***
Strong analytical abilities and the ability to think outside the
box-organized and detail oriented
Strong understanding of technical dependencies in Siebel-
Experience with data conversions-
Experience with Siebel Application Deployment Manager (ADM)
*SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS ***
Hands on experience with code migrations within Siebel
