network. Our top client, located in the *Philadelphia, PA* is currently
seeking a
*Senior Network Engineer*resource to join their organization. I have

3-6 months *
*Must be a US Citizen or Green card.*
*Certifications: Cisco CCNA certification preferred; CCNP certification
desired. CCIE a strong plus.*
Job Description:
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for Installation, configuration,
and troubleshooting local and wide area computer networks and associated
assemblies by performing the following duties Additionally, the Senior
System Engineer will bring greater technical depth and breadth and may also
be called on to lead planning and impact assessment efforts around
technical strategy/direction and while leading and/or mentoring team
members..
Knowledge:
8-10 years of LAN, WAN, and Wireless network experience in Cisco
environment.(LWAN)
Experience in implementing new data centers (preferably with Cisco ACI),
hybrid cloud with AWS, and supporting existing infrastructure.
Past experience with integrating multiple separate networks due to mergers
is a plus.
Strong MS Visio and MS Word skills for network documentation.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
The desire, commitment and ability to be a team player.
Professional attitude and presentation.
Skills and Abilities:
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), WAN topologies, Cisco Nexus, virtual
switching (VSS) and other Datacenter and office switching infrastructures.
Cisco ACI experience desired, including VMWare integration
Palo Alto Firewall implementation and management.
Ability to install and test Multi-vendor software upgrades.
Experience managing and maintaining both Site-to-Site and Remote Access VPN
technologies.
Strong background in designing and implementing multi-service networks.
Ability to install and test Multi-vendor software upgrades.
Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, APs, ISE and ACS preferred
Voice (VOIP) experience and SIP knowledge a plus
DNS/DHCP Administration
Prior Work Experience:
8-10 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Configures, installs, and maintains local and wide area network hardware,
software, and telecommunications services such as network operating
systems, network software applications, firewalls, network servers,
routers, switches, cabling, VoIP hardware/software, and Internet service
providers. Monitors and maintains network stability. Emphasis on
enhancing and maintaining network security and maintaining networking
equipment inventory and circuit inventory.
Lead technical direction discussion(s) and planning within team and outside
team. Represent technical areas on project teams. Perceived and
demonstrated Subject Matter Expert for specific areas/technologies.
Provides upgrade recommendations and supporting rationale.
Contribute to the development of DR/BCP related materials. Participate in
DR/BCP related tests and events. Participate in audit and related
regulatory compliance analysis and remediation efforts. Provide off-hours
production and, at times, development system support. Execute recovery and
BCP requirements resulting from DR/BCP declarations.
Development of system appropriate documentation.
Education/Certifications/Credentials:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field and/or 3 plus years of work experience
in the computer networking field.
Certifications: Cisco CCNA certification preferred; CCNP certification
desired. CCIE a strong plus.
