*Job Title: Java API Developer Work Location: Rockville, MD Duration: Long-Term Contract * *Job Description* We are looking for an API developer to develop services used to manage the publication and consumption of relational data. Producers and consumers will be on premise and in the cloud (Amazon Web Services). Ultimately all producers and consumers will be using AWS Relational Database Service instances for their relational data. Your focus with be development of middle-tier logic in the form of web services and background processes that integrate with data management platform and the AWS Data Migration Service. This logic will facilitate the sharing of relational data across the enterprise, so a strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise data integration is required. This software infrastructure must support a heterogeneous and rapidly changing technical environment so solid object-oriented design and programming skills are also essential.
