Job Title :- Full stack Architect Location : Walnut Creek, CA Duration :- Long term Start Date :- ASAP We are looking for a self-starter Principal Software engineer/ Senior Application Architect with impressive leadership skills and excellent technical skills to help us build our Next Gen Consumer Applications Suite. Along with writing code, you will be responsible for architecting and building a highly scalable consumer applications suite, both front end and backend platform, while working collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, architects, developers and QA on our agile team. Lead the charge, communicate with customers and deliver high performing, resilient and intuitive suite of applications that create awesome customer experiences. . 7+ years of experience designing and developing secure consumer-facing web applications. . BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience. . Experience with the full stack of software development. You have been there and done it, multiple times. You have strong backend APIs (Restful) and impressive UI skills. You have strong experience building APIs platform. You know what works and what doesn't and how it all fits in with the latest front-end technologies. . Experience building responsive Single Page Web Applications using modern front-end technologies such as but not limited to: o Prior knowledge of using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or jQuery. o 1-2 years working knowledge of frameworks such as AngularJS, Backbone or React. . Strong experience writing RESTful APIs and middle tier coding in Node.js & Java. . Proven experience in at least a few of the following technologies. The more the better: o Spring Framework including, Spring MVC. o Web Services: Spring, Jersey, Apache CXF, Axis o Databases: Oracle, MySql, mongoDB, redis, cassandra o Distributed Cache: Ehcache, Coherence, Hazelcast o Build & CI Tools: maven, jenkins, grunt, npm, bower, etc. o Apache Solr, ElasticSearch, Natural Language Processing libraries (Stanford, apache). o Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Spark. . Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture including security, performance, accessibility and usability. . Experience with Scrum, Agile Process, Unit Testing using Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. . Developing and deploying applications on AWS or private cloud. . Expertise in Software Design and Architecture . Insurance domain knowledge preferred. . Unix Oracle applications experience preferred.
