Please send me your updated resume with expected *per hour rate ASAP.* *Skills : Solution Architect/Designer Location : Pleasanton, California Duration:-12+ months* Position Summary: As a Solution Architect/Designer – BI & Data Warehouse (IDR) you would be working with other Solution Designers and Business Resource Managers to come up with effective solutions to address business requirements in analytics and insights space. Your specific focus would be on the emerging Systems of Insight Domain, where web 2.0 technologies collide with enterprise technologies creating an inflexion point in how enterprises leverage technology developments in the consumer space. You would closely work with the Architecture Team and the Business Relationship Teams in understanding, interpreting and bring to life the transformative vision of Systems of Insight. You would be well versed on traditional data warehousing & data modeling space that has dominated the Enterprise Technology space over the majority of the years in your career. Key Responsibilities: • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation. • Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. • Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager. • Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project. • Communicates and enforces coding standards • Performs code reviews and mentors junior developers. • Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule. • Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients. • Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change . • Provide realistic estimates thru the internal processes Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent. Master's Degree preferred. • BI/DW/Data Modeling related Certification is plus • Greater than 5 years in IT with at least 4 years in data warehouse, ETL, data modeling and reporting • 3 years technical lead experience Technology Skills: • Strong Experience or knowledge in Data Warehousing & Reporting • Experience with multiple RDBMS and physical database schema design • Experience with multiple BI reporting packages.
