Emang ada yach CD Windows XP Pro SP2 dgn DirectX 9.0B. Koq
saya beli CD Win XP Pro SP2 sudah include dgn DirectX 9.0C loch.
Di kantor ada 5 CD Win XP Pro SP2 semuanya sudah include 
DirectX 9.0C. Klo gak salah DirectX 9.0B gak dianjurkan loch sama
Microsoft, maybe karena banyak bug-nya. Biasanya Microsoft
menganjurkan user untuk upgrade ke DirectX 9.0C yg lebih stabil.

aktifkan saja auditing-nya, udah built-in di windows xp. caranya klik
kanan drive / folder yang mau diaktifkan auditingnya, klik security,
klik advanced, klik auditing, klik add, klik account mana aja yang mau
dipantau aktifitas file-nya, dan tinggal pilih apa aja yang mau
diaudit (execute, list/read, create/write, delete subfolders, delete,
change permissions, dll).

[ITCENTER] Masalah di network card Realtek

[Yokhanan PRASETYONO]

Rekans,
Apakah diantara rekans pernah mengalami masalah dengan NIC Realtex ( Realtek
RTL8139(A) ) yg onboard di mainboard ASUS P4 P800S-X?. Sebelumnya NIC
berjalan tanpa ada masalah dan bisa konek ke LAN;  tetapi kemarin tiba-tiba
tidak bisa konek lagi, dan tidak ada error apapun baik di Event Viewer dan
Device Manager. Sudah dicoba u/ update dengan driver terbaru, tetapi masih
tetap anteng belum bisa juga. Dengan terpaksa sementara dipasang NIC lain u/
koneksi ke LAN. Mungkin ini masalah kompatibilitas? Atau ada link yang
menjelaskan masalah ini. Mohon pencerahannya.

O/S: Windows 2000 Professional SP4 + semua patches terinstall

Pas km install Symantec AntiVirus Corp. Edition pertama kali, maka
otomatis default Automatic Updates-nya di-enable. Atau klo disable
coba masuk ke menu File --> Schedule Updates. Trus dicheck-mark
aja kolom Enable Schedules Automatic Updates. Nanti klo server tsb
connect continous ke internet, maka Symantec AntiVirus otomatis akan
melakukan update antivirus yg ada. Klo sudah selesai, maka otomatis
di client juga dlm jangka waktu 1 atau 2 jam akan otomatis mengupdate
definition file tsb dgn cara mengambilnya dari AntiVirus server. Jadi 
semua antivirus yg dipasang di client akan mempunyai update antivirus
yg terbaru.

ya tergantung komputernya bisa boot dari usb atau tidak. biasanya sih
komputer dari tahun 2003 udah pada bisa. buat konektor usb-nya sendiri
harganya tergantung dari tipe, kalo cuma kabel USB to IDE doang cuma
150-an ribu, kalo pake enclosure ukuran 5.25" rada mahalan, mungkin
sampai 300 - 400-an ribu.

Tentu bisa kenapa tidak, CPU tanpa Floppy dan CDROM. Untuk booting via USB 
CDROM bisa banget...karena saya sudah pernah mencoba, tetapi perlu dilihat 
juga apakah dari mobonya support untuk booting via USB CDROM, lihat pada 
BIOSnya. Untuk rak CDROM eksternal saya belum pernah membeli, kalo rak 
untuk harddisk eksternal sekitar 250 - 300 rb. btw mungkin rak untuk 
harddisk eksternal bisa dibuat menjadi rak CDROM eksternal. karena waktu 
tiu saya langsung beli yang CDROM Eksternal jadi tidak beli satu persatu, 
coba aja cari di harco mangga dua. saya ada kenalan disana namanya M3 
Komputer di lantai bawah.

maksudnya anda pakai jaringan ketika NAV yang ada
diserver udah update updater antivirusnya, maka client
udah langsung update, dan gak perlu update lagi ke
server symantec.

kalo NAV 2005 professional itu bisa buat pc yang stand
alone atau server yang client-nya gak usah diupdate
sesuai dengan update dari server yang jadi rujukan
client tsb.

dari segi kegunaan ya... sama aja, baik yang v9, 2005
atau pun mungkin 2003. semuanya bisa diupdate kok.

saya sekarang bekerja sebagai tenaga IT disebuah perusahaan, yg sedang

-- bagaimana me 'manage' inventory pc dan hardw pendukungnya dgn baik, ada
kah semacam softw yg biasa dipakai atau adakah semacam literatur yg bisa
didpt di internet yg membahas mengenai itu?

-- dimana sy bs mendpt / membaca artikel ttg me 'manage' IT sebuah
perusahaan dari a s/d z di internet ( walaupun sy ngerti tiap perusahaan
punya rule sendiri2 ) , setidaknya sbg bahan pembanding dan pedoman sy.

-- apakah bapak dan ibu yg sudah banyak pengalaman dpt memberikan masukan
apa apa yg sy harus lakukan utk me 'manage' , butuh banyak saran dan
pencerahannya :)

saya sering googling dgn menggunakan beberapa keyword tapi belum mendapatkan
informasi yg betul betul mengena dgn keinginan sy. ada jg beberapa
perusahaan di website yg menawarkan sistem mereka cuman saya harus membayar
untuk itu ( ya sih jaman skrg mana ada yg gratis :) )

tapi sebelum dx90c di distribusiin... winXP Prof Sp2 udah keluar...
pasti nya bukan dengan dx90c...
 kalo untuk update nya dari 90b ke 90c itu ga mungkin gagal kecuali
installer 90c nya yg korup ato windows nya sendiri yg ca'ur...
 bajakan ato yg ori .. intinya yg penting uptodate..

= Kalo untuk keperluan ini memang harus PCI Pak... soalnya slot 
AGP cuman ada 1 di mobo... kalo Anda mau pake katakanlah 10 monitor, 
gimana caranya? :)

Ini contoh produknya... bisa konek ke banyak monitor, sekaligus untuk 
extend display (bayangkan pake 9 LCD 21" tuh hehehe)... waktu itu sih 
katanya buat dokter yang mau view hasil rontgen :)

Sory Mas Titah, saya blom pernah pakai program yg bisa melihat file2 apa
saja yg di-delete oleh user yg mengakses kompie kita. Atau yg di-cut oleh
user tsb. Maybe Bung Albert Siagian atau member laen di milis ini tahu 
software
tsb. Saya gak pernah install software untuk memantau file sharing.

[ITCENTER] Adapter CD ROM - USB

Di toko komputer ada dijual adapter IDE to USB.  Jadi baik CD ROM, Hard Disk 
IDE atau apa saja, bisa di pasang secara external (juga termasuk dalam 
paketnya adalah power supply untuk peralatan IDE yang kita pasangkan). 
Harganya lebih murah daripada rak USB CD ROM.  Harganya beberapa bulan lalu 
hanya 150rb an.  Namun harus hati-hati dan di coba dulu, karena yang saya 
beli, ternyata hanya bisa di beberapa komputer tertentu saja.

Jelas sangat bisa, tapi semua sangat tergantung dari jenis mobo-nya. Klo di 
BIOS
mobo-nya gak support atau gak tersedia pilihan untuk booting lewat USB 
CDROM,
maka jelas tdk bisa. Tapi rata2 sich, mobo untuk Pentium 3 atau Pentium 4 
sudah
tersedia koq pilihan untuk booting lewat USB CDROM. Klo Rak USB untuk
CDROM saya gak tau harganya brp. Mungkin Mas Bass bisa kasih tau brp 
harganya.

Yang benar-benar dirasakan perbedaannya adalah yang corporate
updatenya centralized, jadi kalo virus definition file di server
diupdate, maka otomatis yang diclient juga terupdate. Jadi kalau anda
punya 100 komputer, nggak perlu dateng satu-persatu untuk update VDF
nya. Kemudian lagi, pada saat aplikasi client melakukan update (versi
corp) dia updatenya keserver anti-virus kita bukan ke server symantec,
menghemat bandiwth...

Nah, kalo yang NAV updatenya masing-masing, ke server symantec, jadi
boros bandwith, namun bukan berarti menutup kemungkinan untuk
melakukan redirection server updatenya.

Kalau point to point pakai saja VDSL atau XDSL Modem/router, Kalau jumlah 
banyak (PMP) harus ada DSLAM di Central site.

[ITCENTER] Virus apa ini ya..?

Mhn bantuan , ini virus apa ya, kalau lagi kerja di MS word, lagi enak enak 
ngetik tiba tiba kursor yang ngedip ngedip hilang, apa yang sudh kita ketik 
juga gak tampil, setelah kita klik mouse baru nongol lagi, begitu juga kalau 
lagi ketik email, tiba tiba kursor panahnya keluar gambar jam pasir seolah 
sedang proses, di klik normal lagi

Mhn informasi virus dan antivirusnya, sudah scan pake mc affe tidak terdeteksi

dlink dll.
Untuk kapasitas besar 10 AP s/d 200 A/P bisa pakai WLAN, karena dgn WLAN 
bisa Integrated dengan System ACL dan support Gardening, Authentication (AAA 
ata LDAP)
Produk bisa menggunakan 3Com WLAN, Cisco WCS, Nortel WLAN, Nortel WMesh, 
tergantung Budged dan desainnya.

Virus hanya angan meng infeksi di OS yang dituju (Windows, Linux, Symbian, 
dll) sedangkan Switch Hub akan kehabisan resourcenya karena traffic nya 
seperti Ddos, Warm, dll.
Seangkan Media kable juga sama halnya dengan Hub, karena pada dasarnya kabel 
merupakan media Badwidh, secara fisik kabel tidak dapat terkena gangguan 
akibat virus, kecuali rusak, electrical dan miss functionality.

executor di kedua benda tsb... namanya juga virus perlu media "system" untuk

[ITCENTER] Alat untuk menampilkan layar komputer kita di TV

  Kira2 ada yang tau ngga sebuah alat yang bisa menampilkan display komputer 
kita di 2 atau 3 TV biasa bersama2 ? Kalau ditampilkan di beberapa Monitor 
komputer saya sudah tau alatnya yaitu VGA spliiter, tapi kalau TV biasa, saya 
belum pernah liat, kira2 teman2 ada yang tau ngga ? and bisa dibeli dimana ?

yahoo bisa. di header ada tag x-original-ip, biasanya sih kalo di

Klo km pakai Win XP Pro, fasilitas tsb sudah ada di
Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Computer Management.
Setelah masuk km lihat menu sebelah kiri, cari yg namanya System Tools,
lalu buka Shared Folders. Di shared folders cari folder yg namanya
Open Files. Disitu km bisa lihat siapa saja user atau org yg mengakses
file sharing.

Ada juga yg gratis, namanya "who is conncted" dari NCS ini bisa ngeliat
file yg dibuka real time. Kita juga bisa men disconnect koneksi tsb.

kalau kabel atau RJ 45 bisa kena virus berarti abis di gigit tikus, dimana
tikusnya mengidap antrak becanda hehehe..

kalau menurut saya semua virus jaringan penularanya memang akan melewati
komputer--lewat konektor-- kabel--Swith-- komputer dan seterusnya, dan
selama virusnya belum di bersihkan ya virus tsb masih berputar2 dan mencarai
mangsa baru.

coba cek kabelnya, trus ke dalem lagi
 siapa tau kabel di makan tikus or putus di dalem
oh ya klo mo cek dari kabel dulu trus ke rangkaian
penyearash saiap tau Transistor, Resistor, Dioda nya yang jebol
oh ya cek juga Dioda yang kakinya da 5 bentuknya tipis ke' IC
biasanya klo yang jebol itunya lampunya juga tidak mo nyala
 klo mang itu normal bisa playbacknya di introgasi
klo masalh play back sih mending ke tukang monitor
"indonesia khan gudangnya pembandrek" jadi siapa tau
bisa di ganti dengan playback scond juga
yangt beda merk lagi
 ya klo harganya mahal beli aja monitor scon banyak juga kok

salam,

cuma tambahin ipini aja.
segala sesuatu tergantung niat dan cara
pelaksanaannya.

saya bukan orang yang setuju maupun gak setuju dengan
cara pemerintah. sebab apapun kebijakan yang
pemerintah keluarkan belum sepenuhnya atau mungkin
seluruhnya bisa kena dan tepat. bahkan mungkin lebih
banyak kontroversinya (gak udah saya sebutkan apa aja
untuk hal tsb)

banyak jalan menuju roma, bagi pemerintah untuk
memberdayakan dan mengontrol penduduknya jika
dikaitkan dengan bentuk kejahatan atau apapun
istilahnya.

banyak jalan juga bagi orang2 yang tak bertanggung
jawab untuk melakukan kejahatan via hp walaupun semua
hp itu sudah teregistrasi dengan benar siapa
pemiliknya. (contoh kecil, curi aja hp orang dan
gunakan sepuasnya untuk kejahatan, sepanjang hp itu
belok diblok :))

mari jadikan idonesia lebih baik
ada yang tau caranya?




mungkin inget aja deh pesan 3M-nya aa gym
mulailah dari diri sendiri.
mulailah dari hal-hal yang kecil.
mulailah dari sekarang.
