Mohon pencerahan, TIA :-) Seperti diinformasi oleh om pbgabsi (bingung sama namanya), ada yg personal dan ada juga yg tersentralisasi. Yg personal biasanya di hubungkan dengan 1 PC, biasanya digunakan untuk identifikasi pengguna PC tersebut (jadi selain password juga harus pakai sidik jari) agar tidak sembarang orang dapat menggunakannya. Yang tersentralisasi biasanya menggunakan TCP/IP atau COM. Ada server absensi/data, dan setiap mesin finger scan terkoneksi dengan server data tersebut.
