Mail server yang tidak bisa diakses ada beberapa sebab :
1. Portnya salah
2. Portnya terblock oleh firewall

Coba check pastikan bahwa portnya benar baik port POP3 maupun SMTPnya
Jika yakin sudah benar coba check apakah terblock oleh Firwall
ISP yang digunakan masih sama kan ? baik saat menggunakan SP2 maupun 
ketika menggunakan SP3 ?

Untuk ISP biasanya yang ditutup Port SMTP, jarang-jarang Port POP3 yang 
ditutup

Slm Kenal semuanya, saya anggota baru di milis ini
saya ingin bertanya tentang adempiere! saya mentok pada pembuatan client pada 
adempiere yakni ttg char of account filenya. saya sudah buat dgn format csv 
tetapi muncul pesan seperti berikut :

format of the Accounting*.cvs file - No duplicate Accounts and all all defaut 
accounts must be included (even if you will not use them).

Open Source Zimbra. Swaktu saya pakai Windows XP2 email Zimbra saya gk ada

Email Client Zimbra tidak bisa connect ke server mail. selalu bermasalah dengan 
"Failure Communication with Mail Server Provider". padahal setingan POP + SMTP

Kemungkinan besar Virus, coba di check baik di sisi Server 2003nya 
maupun di Jaringannya.
Dulu jaman masih pakai server windows pernah juga mengalami seperti ini

kalo menurut saya, mah begini caranya :
Buka Task Manager dengan Ctrl+Alt+DelMatikan proses yang bernama 
wgatray.exeRestart/reboot komputer dan masuklah ke dalam safe modePada safe 
mode, buka registry editor ato regedit melalui menu Run. Ketik regedit kemudian 
enter
 Pada regedit, carilah 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\microsoft\\windowsNT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon\\Notify,
kemudian hapus folderRestart kembali komputer seperti biasa
Sekian penjelasan dari saya, jika ada kesalahan mohon untuk di koreksi ya...

Siang rekan2 IT, sy mo minta masukan / saran & solusi nya dr tmn2 IT...
Sy mo ganti internet Speedy paket game ke Biznet paket 1Mbps. Selama ini sy 
menggunakan speedy (dpt IP Public static) u/ aplikasi mail server sendiri. 
Client menggunakan Microsoft outlook / lwt browser dan bbrp user cuma bsa email 
internal dan tdk bsa internet. Problemnya adalah sy mo ganti biznet 1mbps tp 
tdk dpt IP Public, hrs daftar yg 4mbps baru dpt IP Public - dynamic (no budget 
- terlalu mahal). Ada rencana u/ mengalihkan mail server ke Google Apps katanya 
dpt space 7Gb tp msh awam dan blm yakin dr segi security / access control n 
performanya, mngkin ada masukan dr rekan2 IT sklian... thanks before :)
