salam kenal mas firman,

Dulu kala (2002) saya pernah make mdaemon buat mail server, tapi belum ada
fitur chatnya, tapi gak tau kalo sekarang soalnya udah gak ngikutin lagi.
Tapi, coba cek Mdaemon ms firman versi berapa yang dipakai sekarang dan
baca2 di websitenya Mdaemon.

Hmm.. dari judulnya udah agak aneh..
" Chat dengan menggunakan user email Kantor"

Pertanyannya :
1. Kantornya siapa dulu ? (he2..bcanda)
2. Mail servernya apa ? udah jadi atau baru mau bikin ?!
3. Kalo baru mau bikin baru, rekomendasinya pake Zimbra ZCS.
sudah ada fitur chat bawaan bahkan dari web basednya jg bisa.
4. Atau cari Mail server yang bisa jadi XMPP server sekaligus, jadi bisa
pake XMPP client seperti jabber, pidgin dll kalo mau chat kayak YM atau
Gtalk.

AFAIK,
Semua HP Procurve switch bisa diakses lewat web GUI, biasanya IP defaultnya
dynamic (DHCP). Kalau sudah ketemu IP-nya, masuk lewat http atau
telnet/ssh. Kalau lewat CLI ketik MENU - SWITCH CONFIGURATION - IP ADDRESS.
Dari situ silahkan rubah IPnya sesuka hati :)

IMHO,

Untung ruginya :
- Mikrotik berbasis PC bisa leluasa memilih hardware sesuai keinginan kita
sendiri (CPU, RAM, HDD, NIC dll) sedang Mikrotrik berbasis router ya sudah
terima jadi :)
- Karena itu pertimbangkan load dan performance mikrotik yg akan diperlukan
(concurrent user, fungsi routing, proxy dll) sebab yg berbasis PC masih
bisa diupgrade, tapi yg berbasis board kecil sekali kemungkinannya utk
diupgrade :)
- Mikrotik berbasis PC belum tentu sudah kompatibel dgn RouterOS karena
belum ada tes oleh pabrikannya, sedang yg berbasis board tentu sudah di tes
kompatibility-nya sebelum dijual (CPU, NIC dll)
- Pertimbangkan baik2 spesifikasi Mikrotik routerboard bila ingin
membelinya (CPU, RAM, besar HDD, jumlah NIC, routerOS version dll)

[ITCENTER] Masalah DHCP pada Linksys WRTG54GS

Dear all,

Saya punya 3 buah WRTG54GS Linksys dengan fungsi Gateway.
Semuanya berjalan dengan baik, kecuali fungsi DHCPnya.

Saya ingin ketiga2 bisa DHCP, dengan :
DHCP Router 1 : 192.168.1.100-150
DHCP Router 2 : 192.168.1.150-200
DHCP Router 3 : 192.168.1.200-250

Saya sudah setting seperti itu, pada awalnya berjalan dengan baik.
Tapi beberapa lama kemudian semua fungsi DHCP router tidak ada yang
berjalan.

Pertanyaan saya, kira2 apa penyebabnya ? (interferensi, IP address confilct
atau apa...)
(note : masing2 router saya set pada channel yang berbeda)
