Hi all master it, numpang tanya om/mas/mba/pakde/bu'de/tante/aa/mbok/juragan/pembantu/dll.. Kalau saya rakit PC Server, saya akan menggunakan mainboard kelas menengah-atas, kelas gaming. Asumsinya, mainboard kelas gaming itu pakai komponen yang lebih bagus dibandingkan standard, karena penggunanya suka overclock. Walaupun PC Server tidak perlu overclock, tapi dengan mainboard bagus, maka kemmapuan dia untuk hidup 24/7 lebih dapat diandalkan. Oh ya.. ada pendapat dari marketing mereka, bahwa HDD SATA 2 bisa mengalahkan SCSI, alasannya yang dibutuhkan oleh CPU dalam kecepatan proses adalah Bandwith yang besar, bukan kecepatan putar (rpm) yang tinggi. Benar atau tidak... saya belum membuktikannnya Ngga juga sih, karena sebetulnya kan SCSI juga berkembang. Jadi kalau mau fair, jangan bandingkan head-to-head SATA 2 dengan SCSI konvensional. Tapi dari sisi value/performa, SATA 2 secara teoritis sudah bisa menggantikan SCSI konvensional. sekalian numpang tanya mengenai MDaemon Mail Server
Kantor tempat saya menggunakan email server dgn MDaemon.
tetapi terkadang memiliki kendala dalam hal pengiriman email terutama SMTP
out.
kadang2 sukses dalam mengirim email, terkadang gagal.
umumnya email yang sukses dalam pengiriman adalah domain2 yngsd terkenal dan
besar.
sedang untuk domain2 kecil suka mengalami kegagalan.
