Saya sudah punya starter pack nya (dengan nomor pasca bayar Indosat; sepertinya matrix ya; sudah aktif/registered sejak kemarin, dan sudah siap pakai (untuk nelpon sudah bisa) Saya bermaksud ingin coba apakah bisa dipakai untuk akses internet, menggunakan Laptop DELL Inspiron 1420; di mana di bagian bawah batere, sudah ada slot seperti untuk SIM Card. Pertanyaan saya; (1) Apakah betul slot SIM Card di Laptop DELL Inspiron 1420 saya ini memang bisa digunakan untuk kartu SIM Card untuk Internet Broadband, seperti Indosat 3.G ini? Mohon bantuan, bagaimana cara back up outlook express? Pengalaman saya, beberapa kali komputer kantor di instal ulang, atau yang terakhir tempo hari ini komputer diganti yang baru, harddisk baru, sehingga semua arsip e-mail saya di outlook express hilang. Kalau address book, saya bisa recover karena saya ada account Plaxo.com. Hanya, saya sampai sekarang belum pernah bisa back up atau save outlook express ke satu folder atau ke portable, sehingga bisa dicopy juga ke komp rumah, atau ke komp baru (kalo ada ganti komputer lagi) Rekan-rekan IT di sini tentu ada yang bisa info bantu? Layar monitor komputer saya berubah jadi berwarna kuning tampilannya. Makin ke kanan, warna tampilannya makin kuning. Kenapa ya. Apa yang terjadi, dan bagaimana solusinya. Saya sudah coba lepas kabel-kabel monitor-CPU, lalu pasang kembali, untuk antisipasi kemungkinan kabel monitor kendor. Tapi monitor tetap kuning tampilannya. Need help. MS Office 2007 tampilan fitur2 atau tools2 nya memang beda banget dengan Office sebelumnya. Awalnya keliatan rumit dan terasa menyiksa karena jadi kebingungan cari menu-menu yang biasa dipakai, tempat/tampilannya berubah. Tapi kalau diexplore lebih jauh.. MS Office 2007 lebih kaya fitur2 nya, dan jauh lebih membantu bekerja dengan dokumen-dokumen. Memang butuh kesabaran untuk belajar lagi menu-menu Office 2007. Satu hal yang menyiksa juga adalah, karena belum banyak kolega yang sudah migrasi/upgrade ke Office 2007, jadi saya kalau save dokumen selalu kembali lagi ke save as Office 97-2003, untuk mengantisipasi supaya dokumen saya tetap bisa dibuka di komputer lain yang belum upgrade ke Office 2007. Jadi, sayang juga kalau lay out dokumen di komputer kita sudah bagus dengan Office 2007, tapi waktu dibuka di komputer lain yang belum Office 2007, tampilannya bisa berubah (misalnya font default di Office 2007 yaitu Calibri very nice font di Office 97-2003 tidak ada, jadi berubah jadi font lain yang lebih besar pitch nya, sehingga dokumen kadang marginnya jadi berubah, yang semula fit satu halaman, di komputer lain bisa berubah jadi 2 halaman. Jadi suka dimarahin teman, kok dokumen nya gak diedit betul. Gitu deh... So.. semoga semakin banyak komputer yang upgrade/migrasi ke Office 2007. Diagnosisnya adalah problem di VGA Card dengan solusi VGA Card harus diganti. Oleh teknisinya, VGA Card sudah diganti dengan spek sebagai berikut: VGA Card Power View merk GeForce, dengan spesifikasi : MX 4000 dan 128 MB DDR. Setelah selesai dipasang, teknisi mencharge biaya sparepart VGA Rp 280 ribu (di luar ongkos service). Yang saya ingin tanyakan: apakah harga spare part VGA Card tersebut di atas adalah harga yang normal di pasaran ? Terima kasih.
