Yg perlu meungkin justru ram yg besar. mumpung ddr2 lagi murah2nya. ddr 2 x 1 giga bisa kurang dari 450 ribu. i giga sudah cukup. tapi 2 giga bisa menjaga loading dan mengurangi lag. untuk hdd sepertinya 80 giga bakal cepat habis. karena gim2 sekarang kebanykan sudah dalam bentuk dvd, kadang malah dalam dvd dual layer dengan kapasitas sampe 8 giga. Nah karena masih ada kaitannya dgn subject diatas.
Ini gara2 apa pas ditekan tombol power, fan processor sih jalantapi tanpa
ada reaksi apa2 dimonitor tetap blank,
padahal memory, power Hard disk, power cdrom, dan termasuk card2semua
tidak terpasang, itu karena apa yah? Saya sudah ganti2 Fan Processor,ganti
Batere BIOS juga, masih blank Monitornya.
Mainboardnya P4 ECS K7VMM+

Andaikan tiap kali masalah, kita menyalahkan DOS/Windows-nya, misalnya dengan mengatakan, Apple bisa begini, Mac bisa begitu, Solaris lebih bagus, dll, mungkin kita tidak pinter pinter juga, walau ada DOS/Windows terinstal di komputer kita. Inga' inga' tiap sistem operasi punya kelebihan dan kekurangan masing masing. Bersyukurlah atas setiap kelebihannya, dan lupakan kekurangannya (kecuali kalau bisa membantu mengeliminasi kekurangan tersebut). Begitupun kalau mau belajar Linux. Instal linuxnya, dan pakai HANYA linux saja. Kalau tidak tahu, rendah hatilah untuk bertanya, dan tidak menyalahkan linuxnya. Pada Windows media player WinXP
coba setting berikut :
Menu Tools--Setting---Options
pilih Tab 'Performance' --klik tombol Advance
pada bagian video acceleration hilangkan tanda centang' use overlay' (
tidak pakai overlay)
Jadi bukan pada kabel VGA

Saya bukan expert di hardware Cuma sekadar user aja.., jadi mpg -layering
itu bahasa ngawur saya saja :-)
Solusinya saya pake mode dual monitor ..jadi screen notebook jadi monitor

TV/Projector jadi monitor 2
Tuk meng-enable (winXP) di display properties, pilih tab settings, select
monitor ke 2, lalu check Extends my Window desktop onto this monitor
Lalu tempatkan Media Player pak david di monitor 2 dengan cara mendrag ke
arah monitor 2 sesuai setting di display properties .
voila..video muncul dengan gede nya di projector..
it works for me.. I hope it works for u 2..

Tidak putus, kan masih saya pake. Baru aja tadi dipake untukpresentasi dan
jalan, tapi kalo pake Media Player untuk menampilkan file videoitu tidak
bisa. Kecuali pake kabel vga yg 2 meter yang bawaannya dari projectoritu
sendiri.
Ada solusi lain mungkin?
