Akhirnya saya dan bos saya yang mesti bolak-balik ke klien untuk minta pengertian mereka saat kita minta penangguhan waktu. Praktis company kita dirugikan. Uang, waktu dan tenaga masih bisa diusahakan (kita tambah programmer untuk kejar deadline) tapi nama baik yang kita jaga selama ini di depan klien agak sedikit tercoreng, untung kliennya klien lama jadi dia bisa agak2 maklum dikit. Menurut saya, kerugian di sisi nama baik itu sulit atau bahkan tak bisa tergantikan. Jadi himbauan saya, kalau memang pembuat virusnya bisa terjaring secara hukum lebih baik, meskipun saya juga masih belum tau proses penanganan cyber-crime di Indonesia seperti apa. Dan kalau para mahasiswa ITB tsb mengadakan seminar untuk pembahasan bagaimana cara penanggulangan virus tsb, itu juga sangat bagus. Tapi bila benar mereka yang membuatnya (atau siapapun-lah orangnya), sangat disayangkan sekali, karena korbannya bisa benar2 dirugikan.
