Pertama, anda harus bisa memastikan bahwa network pada Wireless router sama dengan modem ADSL-nya, misalnya ADSL IP-nya 192.168.0.254, maka Wireless Router harus berawalan 192.168.0 juga (dengan netmask 255.255.255.0) Kalau sudah sama, biasanya dari PC sudah bisa ping ke IP ADSL-nya (dengan asumsi Wireless Routernya sudah terhubung baik dengan PC). Nah, di PC tinggal di setting Gatewaynya ke IP ADSL mestinya sudah bisa jalan. Untuk kabel UTP, dalam menghubungkan kedua router bisa digunakan baik cross maupun straight, jadi kabel bawaan router sudah pasti bisa dipakai untuk menghubungkan ADSL dengan Wireless Router anda.
