Dari sejumlah nominasi CIO terbaik se-Asia-Pasifik yang versi IT-Inspiration Award 2008 , muncul tiga nama CIO dari Indonesia, yaitu :
Johnny Swandi Sjam, President Director Indosat Mr. Johnny Swandi Sjam has been the President Director of PT Indosat Tbk since June 5, 2007. He was the director, consumer markets, Indosat from June 2005 to June 5, 2007. In the past, he had held several positions, including President Director of PT Sisindosat from 1999 to 2000, President Director of PT Satelindo from 2002 to 2003 and Senior Vice President of PT Indosat from 2003 to 2005. He earned a Master of Science in Business Administration and Policy from Universitas Indonesia and a Diploma in Industrial Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Universitas Gunadharma. Indra Utoyo, CIO, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk Indra Utoyo is the CIO of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (Telkom). Since joining Telkom in 1986, Indra Utoyo has been instrumental in leading the IT team to implement several key projects such as developed billing application, SAP project, mediation besides supervising on-going projects such as business continuity, tiered storage, data centre and storage and storage consolidation. He also has held several positions in various departments, including that of senior general manager at Information System Centre. His leadership skills were recognized by Telkom and the position of CIO was created for the first time at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. Indra Utoyo holds a degree in telecommunications from the Bandung Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in science (communication and signal processing) from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine from University of London. Tulus Waluja, Director Transformation of Telecommunication Technology & Information, Direktorat Jenderal Pajak Mr. Tulus Waluja is the Director Transformation of Telecommunication Technology & Information of Direktorat Jendral Pajak (Directorate General of Taxes). The organisation's vision is to be a trustworthy public model that delivers a world class tax system and management. Mr Waluja is responsible for successfully leading his team to develop the technology environment which supports the vision and mission of the company. Mereka harus bersaing melawan CIO terbaik lainnya dari berbagai perusahaan di China, Hongkong, India, Malaysia, Singapura dan Taiwan. Mereka sangat inspiratif, membaca profil-profil mereka membuat kita bersemangat.
