Nah kemudian ke 10 source file tsb saya hapus, masalahnya saya mau me restore ke 10 file tsb dari file abc tadi, apakah ada yang tau caranya ? mohon infonya. 2011/6/15 Albert Siagian asiag...@gmx.net Kemungkinan besar sih BOF dan EOF sudah ngga ada, karena waktu merging dianggap text file, kecuali pakai parameter /b. yup benar, kalau ngga pake flag /b hampir bisa dipastikan filenya terpotong. mungkin saja dia lupa pernah pakai itu flag. kalau file size hasil gabungan itu tidak (hampir) sama dengan jumlah file size ke-10 file itu yah say bye-bye aja. kemungkinan 100% filenya kepotong. Misalnya : COPY file1.sql+file2.sql+file3.sql filebaru.sql Dengan cara ini jadi lebih mudah analisa content, karena cuma lihat isi 1 file. Tidak ada fasilitas split. itu gak ada command buat uncombine file nya, karena 'copy' memang bukan packaging tool. metadata file info nya ngga ikut kesimpan. cuma ide, kalau mau coba2, cari file header atau EOF marker-nya file .dbf di file hasil combine itu. lalu bikin file .dbf kosong dan copy isinya file gabungan itu dari awal file header sampai EOF setiap kali ketemu. seharusnya ketemu EOF/file header 10x kalau memang benar. mungkin perlu bantuan hex editor buat cari marker nya. good luck. Dulu pernah punya kasus yang sama, tapi di dalam tape. Ada old proprietary seismic tape writer yg main dumping data tanpa memberikan packaging information. Jadinya datanya kudu di stream pakai dd, lalu pakai tarcat dan gnu tar buar recovery-nya. Prinsipnya sama dengan yang dikatakan Stephen, kudu nemu dulu header dan EOF markernya apa. Kalo itu ndak ketemu ya susah. Yang seharusnya dilakukan copy *.dbf /b abc /b Lagipula, yang bikin saya bingung sampai sekarang : 1. Kenapa dia mesti merging file, karena ngga ada benefitnya dari sisi disk space. 2. Kenapa dia ngga melakukan test restore sejak jaman dulu. Lucu juga kasus ini.
