kembali ke waktu yg lalu sebelum password itu di buat, semacam restore gitu 
lah. Ini cuma dugaan saya, coba aja periksa kompie tempat naro data excel 
itu protected by norton goback ngga??

 Nah... itu dia yang saya heran... kondisi sebenernya sih jadi dia memang
 memiliki akses untuk ngebuka file excel itu, tapi dalam kondisi file
 tersebut di protect (sumpah... saya udah password pake 11 character 
 dengan
 variasi huruf besar-kecil dan angka) untuk melindungi sebagian data-data
 rahasia yang emang harus ada di file tersebut. tapi kayanya sih dia bukan
 menggunakan password cracker pada umumnya yang fungsinya untuk memecahkan
 password yang dipasang, tapi dia menggunakan semacam program yang dengan
 otomatis akan menghilangkan proteksi-proteksi password di file 
 tersebut...
 jadi makin bingung.. hehehe... pecatkah? hehehe

ya... MS Excel memiliki features untuk memprotect sebagian atau seluruh isi
file. seperti yang anda sebutkan, MS Excel dapat memberikan proteksi
password kepada range cell tertentu pada suatu Sheet yang kita tentukan
dengan menu Tools, Protection, Allow User to edit range, sehingga saya tidak
perlu memproteksi seluruh file. Prompt password akan keluar pada saat
seseorang berusaha untuk mengedit range cell tersebut. Orang tersebut saya
ketahui telah menggunakan program bernama Password.xla untuk menghilangkan
seluruh password-password yang berada pada file tersebut...

Ini maksudnya gimana yah? Apakah dalam 1 file, misalnya TEST.XLS, kolom A -
H boleh dilihat, kolom I - Z tidak boleh dilihat/rahasia?
Setahu saya, password di Excel di adalah per file, bukan per content. Jadi
kalau anda memang benar memberitahukan passwordnya ke dia, tentu dia bisa
buka seluruh isi file tersebut.

Wahh.. kl gitu mah, nyang punya file juga emmoohhh buka file nya sendiri..
:) mendingan ngetik ulang dari pada harus masukin password berkali kali, ya
ngga??

Atau gini aja, si bawahan itu suruh pindah meja ke depan meja boss, trus
monitornya menghadap ke boss, jd posisinya boss dibelakang punggung dia,
ntar kl ketauan lg ngoprek kan tinggal di timpuk pake mesin fotokopi tuhh
atau timpuk pake monitor 21 biar tau rasa .. ha ha ha :)
