[iText-questions] font Arabic Transparent - get ??? for text
Hi; I have a case where I am using Arabic Transparent as my font. It cannot create a Font that is Identity-H and so I have to create it using CP1256. When I write text if the text is Arabic I get instead of the arabic characters. I tried converting the chars in the String I write to the codepage values but then I get the standard high-ansi chars from 0x80-0xff. What do I need to do different? thanks - dave - This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Don't miss this year's exciting event. There's still time to save $100. That font doesn't allow embedding and iText requires Identity-H and embedding. You can't use that font with iText (and I suspect with any pdf tool).
