Thanks for searching for me, but I did not see any SVG-specific mailing lists among the results to which you linked. Most of what I saw were this mailing list, generic Java forums, and my own question. Because I cannot find an SVG mailing list, the IText area seems to be the most appropriate place for this question. Others may have encountered this problem too.
