Hi Andy,

I believe the right API for opening a camera device and accessing its stream is
getUserMedia(). What parameters have you used so far with your <video> tag?

Thanks,
Geoffroy

Hello everyone

I have developed a HTML5 WebApp with tab<video> for displaying camera video.

When i run this webapp on VTC1010 device,it can not display camera video.

I got some error message from the console.

[Error Message]
6月 26 00:23:25 ivi_box WebProcess[295]: gboolean
WebCore::MediaPlayerPrivateGStreamer::handleMessage(GstMessage*)(1076) > ERROR:
GST_MESSAGE_ERROR 5: Could not open resource for reading. (url=camera://1)
6月 26 00:23:25 ivi_box WebProcess[295]: void
WebCore::MediaPlayerPrivateGStreamer::loadingFailed(WebCore::MediaPlayer::NetworkState)(1914)
 > ERROR: NetworkState : 4

But it can display camera video by the same webapp on the PC machine.

Could anyone give me some advice?

Thank you.

Andy
