email-service

2014-08-29 Thread Podolyak, Zoltan
Hello,

I would like to contribute at least one crash fix to the Tizen
email-service project. Particularly the one under this path:

review.tizen.org:29418/platform/core/messaging/email-service

But before I do, I would like to clarify a few things about the project.

First, if you pull the tizen branch (HEAD), it does not even compile. If
you trivially fix the compilation error, you'll get a build that is pretty
much non-functional. At least with the WRT Messaging API and/or the
email-test-app.

So I pulled the accepted/tizen/ivi/stable branch, as that seemed to be the
one that's in the latest WRT (4/22) milestone. I fixed a crash that is
clearly reproducible in this version.

Even though the HEAD version contains significant code changes, it appears
to also be vulnerable to this crash.

So my first question is, should I contribute the patch to the HEAD or to
the stable branch? Also, I may be fixing additional issues in the project
in the upcoming weeks. Where do you recommend I contribute those fixes? And
lastly, does this project have a place in future Crosswalk milestones?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
Zoltan

RE: 回复:RE: 回复:RE: Problem : Tizen downloadRequest

2014-08-29 Thread VanCutsem, Geoffroy
I believe the Download API of that version does work (the difference under the
hood is that the tizen_20140422.1 aka 3.0-M2-March2014 image is based on
Webkit).
Cheers,
Geoffroy

Thank you for your reply.
I will merge the fixed code and test again.

By the way, is it possible that 'Download API' of following version can be
used?

I’m assuming you are therefore now using a Tizen IVI image that uses Crosswalk.
The ‘Download API’ is not quite ready yet for Crosswalk in IVI. You can check
the status via the following bug reports:

- Feature request: https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-1070

- Bug report: https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-2400

After checking the comments in XWALK-1070 it looks like it’s just been
implemented/fixed in Crosswalk and should therefore shortly find its way into
Tizen IVI.

Thank you for your reply.
I just used the latest modified IVI , the error has been resolved.

But, when I used that example code, the listener returned "error name :
InvalidAccessError " which is not explained in API References.

Re: Update murphy in Tizen IVI

2014-08-29 Thread Philippe Coval
ok I've done this (as stated in https://bugs.tizen.org/jira/browse/TC-1353 )

Is there a bug to track all activities related for this "Update murphy
in Tizen IVI" task
because from my point of view, I feel I miss some history and context..

Well good luck , since I think I've done my part right?
