[JAWS-Users] Re: Combo box question

2006-12-23 Thread David Greene

Hi, here is what works for me. Hit space bar, alt down arrow once, then
control down arrow for the remaining items in the combo box. Some times I
can simply down arrow and it will work, while at other times, as soon as I
down arrow I am taken to that page or sight.

Bill,
You are right.

I was trying to help a person navigate a college web site and met with

this

challenge. I could not arrow down through the items in the combo box.

Alt
+ down arrow did not work for me. Any input would be greatly
appreciated.

I suspect that the problem Tammy is asking to resolve is the dynamic
 changes
in the web page simply by moving from item to item in the Combo box.

[JAWS-Users] Re: Combo box question

2006-12-23 Thread Bryan Schulz

hi,

i'm not impressed with internet explorer 7.0.5.
i'm using jaws 7 for now and i don't know what the choices are in a combo
box anymore without switching out of forms mode, hitting up then down arrow
to hear what has changed in the combo box.

what's the trick to return to normal working order like the results in ie6?

Either update your JAWS to 7.10500, or uninstall Windows Internet Explorer 7 to return to IE6.
