Hi, before I go out to google groups and try to build a mailing list, does
anyone know if it can be done with jaws? Some places make you copy a code
from a picture box. Tom K.

 Hi all,

I run a group on Google and I would like to be able to see the group name
in
the subject line. Can someone tell me if there's a way I can do that? Is
there a setting I'd have to change?

 Thanks in advance.

Hi list,
I have a windows update ready to be installed in my system tray. I think
it might be Internet explorer 7, but not sure. I remember a lot of
people having concerns about installing I.E 7. I was wondering what the
general view of I.E 7 with Jaws 8.0 and Windows XP are? Are people still
having major issues with it or what?
Thanks a lot
Jason

[JAWS-Users] Table reading

2007-03-19 Thread Barry G

Hi folks, I'm regularly working with a document that has 30+ tables in it
and, when I'm proofing and read through it with a say all, Jaws reports
Table 1 every time it enters a new table. I could really do with knowing
which table I'm in as it's read so that I can return to it to make any
needed changes.

I'm sure that it is probably a verbosity issue rather than a glitch in JAWS,
but I can't figure it out. Has anyone got any ideas?

All the best,
Barry G

is there a reason for jaws to be announcing patch operational instead
of the number of results in the search field and is there a fix for

[JAWS-Users] Re: Table reading

2007-03-19 Thread Denny Huff

You could try doing this.
Place your cursor at the first row and column and do an insert v.
Type an s until you hear, set column title row, then press your spacebar.
Arrow down to, set row title column and again, presss your spacebar.
Press enter.

I have been also wondering if there is a way to title a table so that when
you bring up the JAWS List box of tables in your document, it would say the
name of the table instead of the table number. I haven't yet figured out a
way to do it.
