[JAWS-Users] MP3 Tag editing / converting

2007-05-31 Thread KURTIS POTTER

Hey Richard,

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. MP3 TAG on the
blind-computing.com site was the little program that did the trick.
I may even give a couple of the other programs you mentioned below a
try...I have learned more than I ever wanted to know about MP3 Tags in
the past two weeks, so I might as well keep learning. Right!

Thanks again.
Kurt

Hi Kurtis,
Here's a couple of tips,
If you use CDEX to rip, you can specify which type of tag you want to
give
the file.
If you use WinAmp, you can edit the I D tags with it's tag editor.
Also, you can check the documentation for audio files at:
www.jaws-users.com
on the tips and tricks page, or the audio files page under the tips and

tutorials heading at:
www.blind-computing.com
I believe we have several tag editors on both sites.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] MP3 Tag editing / converting

Hi all,

I just want to say that this group is great. I often learn answers to

questions I didn't even know I had.

Now for the main reason for this post.

I am looking for a JAWS accessible program that can edit / convert MP3
tags
from IDV 1 to IDV 2.

The Stamp program that was posted here a couple of weeks ago was very
JAWS
accessible, but it did not quite stamp the genre correctly (at least
not in
the version 2 that I need).

Maybe there is a good CD ripping application that would also accomplish
this
task? I am open to any ideas or suggestions. The program doesn't even
have
to be free. I just want to get these MP3 tag problems figured out.

Okay, thanks for any help and keep up the awesome job of sharing
information.

Kurt

 Hi David,

The first control you'll get to when you choose the
setting I told you about is a check box. In your
friend's
case, this box is checked, so just uncheck it. I have
found that this comes as a preset function when
installing
 office 2003.

 Hi David,

Tell your friend to o to tools, control tab to the

Kurt
